Illinois u.select (formerly CAS)
The Illinois u.select (formerly CAS) works in conjunction with the Illinois degree audit system to:
- Display transfer course equivalencies through course equivalency guides. Course equivalency guides allow you to determine which courses transfer to the University.
- Create transfer planning guides. These reports show how your transfer credit might be used in a University of Illinois program of study.

The transfer course equivalencies contained in u.select and the reports generated from the system do not constitute a contract between the student and the University of Illinois.
NOTE: Fine and Applied Arts Students -- transfer credit for fine arts skills courses are subject to audition and/or placement exam or portfolio review.
Current University of Illinois students should contact their college offices for information on transfer credit restrictions prior to enrolling in courses at other institutions.
